It’s slightly back from the Table Rock but it doesn’t mean that the view isn’t great here. Because it provides a wider, panorama sort of view of the falls including the surrounding areas. 

Pros:

  • A wider view of the falls. 
  • Spacious and relaxed.

Cons:

  • Some areas aren’t open 24/7.

Terrapin Point

If you are looking for a view from the American side instead of the Canadian, Terrapin Point is your destination. It is located at the base of American Falls and therefore offers a more intimate view of the falls than the Canadian side. 

Pros:

  • Open 24/7.
  • Unique viewing experience. 
  • Fireworks appear to cascade right over you.

Cons:

  • Limited parking space.
  • Misty and chances of getting wet.

Observation Deck at the Skylon Tower

Simply put, if you want a unique viewing experience right off the bat, you should head over to Skylon Tower. It is located on the Canadian side and offers bird-eye views of the entirety of Niagara Falls spectacle with Niagara safari. Moreover, it features an arcade and restaurant, a cherry on top.

  • Other options: Consider overflow parking at the Niagara Parks Corporate Office or the Niagara Fallsview Casino, with shuttles to Prospect Point.

Terrapin Point:

  • Niagara Falls State Park Parking Lot #1: Located closest to Terrapin Point, with a short walk to the viewing area. 
  • Niagara Falls State Park Parking Lot #2: Offers more spaces than Lot #1 but is a slightly longer walk to Terrapin Point.

Skylon Tower:
